DESCRIPTION
The 2026/27 Coventry City Home Shirt takes inspiration from the iconic 1987 FA Cup-winning kit, reimagined with a modern look that celebrates one of the club’s greatest moments. A deeper sky blue base reflects the shirt worn during that historic triumph, bringing a strong sense of heritage to the design.
Bold striped detailing runs across the front, featuring a subtle four-tone sky blue jacquard pattern inspired by the celebrations in the city centre following the famous victory. Fine navy pinstripes within each stripe pay homage to the original 1987 shirt, while navy accents on the collar and Hummel chevrons complete the look.
A stylised ‘1987’ sits at the back neck and is incorporated into the internal neck tape as a subtle nod to the club’s history. The stripe design gradually fades towards the back, providing a clean finish for names and numbers.
Constructed from lightweight Hive jacquard fabric, the replica shirt is made from 100% polyester with a 140–150gsm construction, offering everyday comfort and durability.
